I have had an association with Aarhus University since a 1997-98 sabbatical leave year in the Quality & Innovation Research Group at the Aarhus School of Business - formerly a separate university merged into Aarhus University in 2007. Among elements of my association with AU - which is globally ranked among the world\'s top 100 universities are teaching in the Aarhus Summer University each year since 2010, as a tenured full professor from January 2012 through my August 2015 return to the U.S. Since returned to the US at that time, I have concurrently served at a reduced level (20%) at Aarhus University. I consider Denmark to be my second home.My appointment is in the Business Development & Technology Department and the Interdisciplinary Center for Organizational Architecture (ICOA) in the School of Business & Social Sciences, one of the few business schools globally to hold the AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA accreditation trio.My primary research area is at the intersection of Sustainable Enterprise Excellence (SEE) and Socio-Ecological Innovation (SEI). My graduate course portfolio includes team instruction of a doctoral course for nano-technology students on \"Managing & Organizing Scientific Innovation\";\"Six Sigma Innovation & Design\";\"Lean Six Sigma\" and \"Sustainable Enterprise Excellence\" with contributions to courses on \"Management of Technology\" and \"Quality Management\".

ABOUT RICK EDGEMAN
My primary interests lie at the interface of sustainability, innovation, lean enterprise methods, and business excellence. In particular I am involved in development of models for assessing and advancing progress toward Sustainable Enterprise Excellence (SEE) and Socio-Ecological Innovation (SEI). My recent book on Complex Management Systems can be found at: Apart from my normal activities, I am in the midst of a six-course Systems Thinking Certificate through Cornell University that will be completed by December 2019 and have just completed (October 2019) a brief Design Thinking for Innovation course through the University of Virginia (via Coursera).
