ABOUT MURRAY EMSLIE

With nearly 30 years in the oil and gas sector my amazing journey in the industry has gave me the experience, knowledge and confidence to take it one step further in to the business world. When all those years ago starting out as a Wireline trainee it was something that I probably could have never envisaged but here we are.Moving from the construction industry to the oil industries was an exciting part of my life at that time. A chance to learn something new with the drive to see where it would take me but without actually really knowing where I would get to.In the early to mid stages of my career in the industry I gained valuable exposure to all types of well intervention, completions and well operations that I realise now gave me the right knowledge base for a move in to well integrity and again it was an opportunity to keep learning.Forward the clock 17 years and my interest is still very much in well integrity and more recently diving in to other areas of asset integrity. I view that the principles of integrity and integrity management do apply much the same to nearly any system, process or equipment where integrity is key to its lifecycle.Now as one of the founding directors at Opus Integrity I am utilising the knowledge and experience to build a company that provides valuable integrity services to support clients with safe guarding their asset.
