ABOUT RAYYAN FAISAL

Majoring in \" Bsc Management Sciences\", with a minor in \" Computer Science\", I am a fresh graduate from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) in the batch of 2023. In my A-Levels, I scored 1A* and 3As, while in O-levels, I scored 6A* 1A and 1B. During my academic tenure, I have remained active in co-curricular and extra-co-curricular activities, including sports, arts, freelance working, internships, volunteer work, and student-led societies. In terms of sports, I was a member of the LUMS Badminton Team, while in my college years, I have remained in table tennis, swimming, football, cricket, volleyball, squash, and badminton teams. I have also expanded myself into the realm of arts, particularly hyper-realistic graphite/charcoal sketches, and origami. In 2014, I had the honor of participating in and winning an art competition held by the Japanese embassy in Pakistan in overall Peshawar by creating an origami scape. Recently, however, I have shifted my focus to hyper-realistic sketching and had the opportunity to make sketches of popular personalities and send them to them. One of my sketches of Pakistan\'s cricket legend, Shahid Afridi, was signed by Mr. Afridi and is now showcased in Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)\'s official gallery in Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. Following on, I have also been making custom-made sketches for clients on orders and expanding my Instagram page, ray_artzz. In terms of corporate experience, I have performed an internship with Maison Consulting and Solutions in their Business Intelligence department, where I had the opportunity to learn and practice Microsofts Power Bi. During the end of the 6-week internship, I made a visualization dashboard for one of Maison\'s clients, Warda. I have also remained active in freelancing: 1) Translator and Transcriber @ Al Nafi. I was tasked to view lecture videos in Urdu and translate them into English while following a specified set transcribing format. 2) Blog Manager @Al Nafi. I was responsible in domains related to content creation for Al Nafi, and led the launch planning for a project \"Write for Us\". In my college years, I was elected as the Academic HeadBoy of students. In my undergrad, I joined the \"Science Society\" and the LUMS Society of Professional Accountancy (LSPA). Consequently, I chose to pursue LSPA and climb the ladder and so was promoted to assistant director of External Relations and then to Director of External Relations and Marketing Department. I was tasked to train and lead a team of 7 members in inviting guests and sponsors to our events.
