ABOUT MARTIN SPASSOV

Martin is a Technical Product Manager working at OpenBorder, helping e-commerce brands navigate their international expansion. Martin has extensive experience across the entire software lifecycle, delivering products used by millions of people worldwide. Specifically, his expertise includes, requirements gathering, designing and storyboarding use cases, writing tech specs, integration architecting, etc. Before working at a startup, Martin was a consultant at Deloitte, within the technology consulting portfolio. He has worked with several clients spanning the Banking and Retail industry. At Deloitte, Martin provided business advisory services to assist companies in shaping their strategic visions, as well as leading the delivery of technology solutions. Academically, Martin completed a Computer Science and Business Degree from Ivey and Western University, graduating with distinction and placing in the top 10% of graduates. While completing his academics, Martin was an active contributor to the university community, holding several leadership positions at the Western Venture Association, and the Western Founders Network, as well as being employed as a TA for Ivey HBA1 Finance, and CS3350: Computer Organization.In his free time, Martin is an avid programmer, particularly interested in web development and design. He is proficient in most web technologies, and enjoys building web applications using the MERN stack.
