As a dedicated lifelong educator with over 24 years of service in the education sector, I bring extensive experience and passion to my role as Director of College Counseling. As a National Board Certified Counselor and a member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), I have cultivated a deep understanding of the intricacies of college admissions.Before joining International College Counselors (ICC), I served as the Director of College Counseling at one of the top public charter schools in the country where I successfully guided students to gaining admission to elite colleges such as the Ivy League schools, Duke, Stanford, University of Chicago, Cal Tech, MIT, and Johns Hopkins. I also specialize in supporting student-athletes through the recruitment process, my students have secured placements across Division I, II, and schools.Furthermore, my expertise extends to graduate school admissions, where I assist students in identifying programs tailored to their aspirations and facilitating their admission. My personal academic journey includes a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Business from Pennsylvania State University, followed by an M.S. in Counseling from Villanova University.Recognitions such as being selected as a Distinguished Counselor by Boston Public Schools in 2011 and receiving a full scholarship to the Harvard Summer Institute on College Admissions highlight my dedication to excellence. In 2019, I was selected by the College Board as a Distinguished Counselor, the sole recipient in the state.Throughout my career, I have prioritized supporting students from diverse backgrounds, guiding them through the complexities of the college application and admissions process. I am deeply committed to empowering each student I work with to realize their full potential and pursue their academic aspirations with confidence.
