ABOUT MARIAH CALDERA

Hello! My name is Mariah, a HR professional with a strong educational foundation and human resource management experience across several industries.I am a graduate from Pepperdine University, receiving my Masters of Science in Human Resources. I also received a double major in Business Administration and Public Policy with a minor in Economics from the University of Redlands. I am a certified HR professional, receiving my SHRM-CP from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). I have over 6 years of professional Human Resources experience, along with 2 years of HR internship experience, with strong knowledge of California state and federal laws, HR policies and practices, labor relations, and employee grievance management. I am responsible for a wide range of employee functions, including onboarding, employee development, performance management, leave of absence administration, workers’ compensation, and the separation process. As a Human Resources Business Partner, I have comprehensive exposure to the entire employee life cycle across the organization, allowing me to support employees effectively and contribute to organizational success. My experience in different industries has allowed me to have a diverse skill set and adapt to different organizational structures.
