I have twenty-eight years of technical experience covering environmental, sustainability and infrastructure carbon management and assessment, and the associated standards ISO 14001, BREEAM, and PAS 2080. This experience is based across initial work with a wide range of small and medium enterprises, including manufacturing, and the majority in the infrastructure industry covering rail, highways, water and nuclear. I was the technical lead for the original UK rail industry carbon tool, and am a key technical contributor to RSSB for development of the replacement tool. Using my experience I develop and run carbon reduction and sustainable design management for infrastructure projects. This covers the full spectrum of roles including: strategic technical leadership to chief programme managers and engineers; development of industry wide carbon management guidance; development and implementation of sustainable design management strategies and plans; sustainable procurement, etc.My skills enable me to identify strategic carbon and sustainability agenda priorities, and collaboratively develop and implement management solutions to deliver them, with clear, pragmatic attention to detail, and consistency to carrying them through to final technical delivery. My key competences are- Standards and guidance development - Carbon management and modelling - BIM and carbon calculation integration - Training, including general awareness, project management and auditing - EIA impacts on climate - Sustainability management - Environmental data management - Environmental Management Systems - Registered BREEAM Advisor 20••••10 - Environmental auditing and reporting for a wide range of processes and industrial sites, particularly construction
