It’s been an amazing privilege to sit on the GWF board – an organisation that is truly transforming the economic trajectory of youth in marginalised communities in South Africa. Sitting on their U.K. board will provide me with an opportunity support their fundraising endeavours in the E.U and UK. General responsibilities include: Governance and Oversight:Providing strategic guidance and oversight to ensure the organization fulfils its mission effectively and ethically.Reviewing and approving organizational policies, procedures, and key decisions.Monitoring organizational performance and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Financial Stewardship:Participating in fundraising efforts and donor stewardship activities to support the organization\'s financial sustainability.Advocacy and Representation:Serve as an ambassadors for the organization, promoting its mission, programs, and impact within the community.Advocating for the organization\'s interests and priorities to external stakeholders, including government officials, funders, and partner organizations.
