ABOUT MORITZ WIDMAIER
As a biochemist I am continuously interested in the research and scientific progress in the field of biomedical research.Throughout my university studies I investigated novel anti-cancer treatments using adenoviruses and later became interested in human and mouse pathology during my PhD thesis. In the course of my work I got trained in various cutting edge microscopy techniques, Mass-Spec analysis and Gene targeting as well as cloning techniques.I extended my knowledge in the field of medical image analysis working at Definiens in various positions. I supported image analysis by developing algorithms, leading groups in image analysis development and supported studies with data analysis and data mining. Finally, I took over responsibility on larger analysis development programs as a product owner successfully collaborating with agile teams at Definiens, AstraZeneca and Ultivue.
