ABOUT MONSERRAT CÁRDENAS
Since always I have been really curious on travelling the world and meet different perspectives and ways of thinking based on our own life\'s experiences and culture. After I did an exchange semester in Germany in 2017 at Hochschule Offenburg and an internship by Daimler AG also in Germany, I discovered that I wanted to develop an International professional path. Exchanging ideas with people raised with a totally different mindset evokes innovation, tolerance, engagement and advanced teamwork skills. After this kind of experience at the short age of 21, back in Mexico I decided to go into Continental Automotive in Guadalajara, gaining soft skills such as: 1. Leadership. Ownership.3. Engagement. Freedom to Act. Project Management. Initiative. But also during this 4 years in the company, I gained a vast knowledge on Manufacturing methods, how to improve the production\'s lines performance, engineering changes, capacities within the production lines, reduction of cycle times, among others. Due to Allocation issues (post-pandemic consequences) I learned also a lot from Customer\'s specific demand requirements, how to handle allocation problems and how having flexibility in production can be used as a really powerful tool to improve the performance of the line. Now I am focused on doing a Master\'s Degree in Supply Chain and Operations Management in Berlin, open to new challenges.
