ABOUT MONICA TEBBUTT

My enterprising sprit was evident in early childhood and my early flair for business. This continues today evident in my strategic approach and initiative. I was the Jack of All Trades to self-declared CEO of a number of Family Businesses in from my mid-teens to early 20’s When i left my childhood roles and started in wider industry no job was beyond my capabilities and my inquisitive style had me working cross functionally specializing in packaging including development, data management, manufacturing, supply chain and logistics. The roles were tactical operational roles to ensure implementation of new packaging on high-speed lines optimizing the supply chain to challenging timelines. My later career lead me to more strategic initiatives looking at packaging optimization, harmonization long range strategic packaging (functional & environmental) direction in conjunction with the purchasing team. Joining Cummins in July 2021 mid pandemic I brought a wealth of multidimensional skills from my previous 20year + career in the food and consumer goods industries with a vast array of transferable skills. As my career in Cummins progressed, I took a leadership role in EMEA ROT as Packaging Operations Manager, a role that I feel suits my strengths and skill set. A natural leader with an authentic, vulnerable approach to my interactions I have found through StrengthFinder and my MBTI profile I am very good at networking, inspiring others and communicating concepts and ideas which generates a lot of enthusiasm and support for the activities I am involved in. In a short time, I have built a strong network that is ever expanding. I would like to grow out of a tactical operational role and into a strategic role where I can campaign to drive positive change in any facet of the organization that I touch. My strengths also lie in trouble shooting and driving direction for the change however execution is best left to the experts. I am excited to explore new opportunities outside of the specialism of packaging and grow to the next level in my career.
