ABOUT MONIC PRATCH
I joined the FortisBC legal department in 2010 and have held the positions of Senior Counsel, Privacy Officer, Corporate Secretary and most recently Director, Governance and Corporate Compliance. I am currently, the Vice President, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary & Sustainability and I have oversight responsibilities for the legal, lands, environment, sustainability, privacy, internal audit, ERM, insurance and corporate compliance departments. I am also the Corporate Secretary for our two venture issuers and the numerous other FortisBC companies. I have a law degree and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Alberta, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Development Studies from Dalhousie University, and I am called to the bar in both British Columbia and Alberta.
