I lead strategy, campaigns, and content that build grassroots advocacy, strengthen stakeholder relationships, shift narratives, and drive meaningful policy and practice change.I also contribute to several cross-institutional initiatives that shape equity-focused practices and policy, gathering key insights to develop critical systems-change strategies and toolkits that support inclusive, effective learning environments. This includes the Safe & Supportive Schools Toolkit, which I developed independently—researching, writing, and designing its full framework—to support immigrant and English Learner students amid a dangerous federal threats. The toolkit was later endorsed by the state’s Commissioner of Education and circulated to schools statewide as a recommended resource.In addition to this work, I serve as a member of the Research Collaborative Table, the College Race Equity Advocacy Advisory Council, the Emerging Multilingual Learners Network, and the Race Equity for Accelerated Learning Network.
