ABOUT MOLLY LAVELLE
I am a driven and passionate student at the University of Alabama, pursuing a double major in Sport Management and Public Relations through the Honors College. With a strong background in public speaking, media relations, and event management, I am building the skills and experience necessary to pursue a career in sports. I’m an Athletics Communication Intern for UA Athletics and part of the Alabama Hockey media team, where I gain hands-on experience in media relations, game coverage, and digital content. Beyond my campus roles, I am the Director of Fundraising and Sponsorships for Grow the Game, a student-led initiative dedicated to expanding hockey across the state of Alabama. In this role, I lead partnership development, coordinate fundraising events, and strengthen the organization’s community presence. My experiences also extend to leadership and communication development. As part of the Speaking Studio, I mentor peers in public speaking and presentation skills, helping them build confidence and clarity in their communication. I remain highly involved in the Honors College, where I continue to challenge myself academically and professionally.
