ABOUT MOINUL HOSSAIN RAHAT
AI Research Scientist working at the intersection of machine learning and fundamental physics.I build AI systems designed to explore deep questions in theoretical physics - from quantum mechanics to cosmology. My work focuses on developing domain-specialized AI that can advance scientific reasoning and discovery in ways that generalist systems cannot.At FirstPrinciples, I\'m part of an interdisciplinary team of computer scientists, mathematicians, engineers, and physicists building the AI Physicist - an ambitious effort to create AI systems that don\'t just accelerate existing research, but help us ask better questions about the nature of reality.With a PhD in Physics from the University of Florida and experience building large-scale LLM training infrastructure, I bridge theoretical physics and modern AI systems. I\'m particularly interested in how techniques from computational physics, distributed training, and novel architectures can be applied to scientific discovery.I\'m passionate about using AI to push the boundaries of human knowledge in fundamental science.
