Responsible for the delivery and implementation of finance and regulatory change projects in HSBC and its annual Financial Resource Planning (FRP). Portfolio of current deliverables include:i) Deliver a robust and controlled Global Banking Net Interest Income (BNII) and Banking Net Interest Margin (BNIM) process with improved operational resiliency for Group Financial Controller, disclosed in the Annual Report and Accounts (ARA) and Investor Relations pack. ii) Implement HSBC’s Group Financial Reporting (FR) adherence and compliance to the new IFRS 18 Accounting Standards going live in Jan 2027, which includes re-statement of prior period disclosures in the ARA and a SOX audit by Provide management oversight of strategic Funds Consolidation project for Group Financial Control to support accurate consolidation of HSBC asset managed funds and compliance to Global Minimum Tax.iv) Implementation of a matched and merged Expected Credit Loss (ECL) data asset for Capital and Statistical Regulatory Reporting, Stress Test and MI teams that support the delivery of a Future State Architecture vendor tool for Group FR.• Successfully managed and implemented HSBC’s global restructure of new operating segments (Project Mimosa) for Controllership Value Stream which delivered:o the publication of a 2-year re-segmented data pack on 7 Mar 25 and o Day 1 go-live BAU process readiness to support Group FR and Regulatory Reporting disclosures. • Responsible for the Future State Architecture implementation of IFRS 9 Impairment Calculation Engine (ICE) and its on-going mandatory finance and regulatory changes including quarterly delivery release cycles, annual FRP and monthly IFRS 9 Programme Steering Committee. • Currently manage 11 direct and 66 indirect reports.
