This hands-on experience in building a company from the ground up gave me a deep understanding of what it takes to launch, scale, and successfully exit a business, including transactions with major players in the Canadian health care industry.After a successful exit, I took on a new challenge in the cannabis industry, I scaled nascent medical cannabis platform to $20M in annualized sales, creating a profitable model in a complex, emerging market. This role solidified my expertise in commercial strategy, P&L management, and brand-building.My most recent work has been as a strategic advisor and fractional executive. I stepped in as a COO and CEO for a publicly traded company to lead a strategic turnaround, which ultimately delivered a 185% increase in shareholder value through a high-value merger. I’ve also been advising a diverse portfolio of clients, from West Africa to UAE.In addition to my professional work, I\'m passionate about giving back. I mentor aspiring entrepreneurs at the McGill Dobson Centre and founded a small island dog rescue, where my family and I have re-homed five dogs.
