I am an Assistant Coach for Mt. San Antonio College Forensics, an inter-collegiate public speaking and debate team. I work directly with students in their respective events coaching them through speechwriting, public speaking, research, policy analysis, debate preparation, and run consistent practice sessions to prepare them for regional, State, and National tournaments. When needed, I organize and conduct lecture-style workshops for students regarding political and social issues of the day to inform their event preparations.I coach extemporaneous and impromptu speaking, debate, platform events, and assist in interpretative events.I also travel with the team to their competitions, where, alongside coaching, I participate in the tournament as a judge for different events.

ABOUT MOHAMAD ALMOUAZZEN
I’m a Lebanese immigrant raised in Southern California with a deep passion for politics, community engagement, and public service. Growing up, I witnessed the transformative power of civic involvement, which inspired my commitment to amplifying underrepresented voices, particularly in the Muslim American community. As a Field Representative for U.S. Senator Adam Schiff, I serve as a bridge between communities across Southern California and the Senator’s office. My work involves connecting with local leaders, advocating for constituents, and advancing solutions to address pressing issues at the federal level. With a degree from UC Riverside and as a current legal student, I am continuously pursuing ways to expand my knowledge and expertise to better serve my community. My focus lies in fostering meaningful connections, empowering communities, and working toward policies that promote equity and inclusion.
