As a public speech tutor, I assist students in developing confidence in the public speech skills that they learned in their courses. My main joy is empowering students to tell their personal stories and speak on topics that they care about. Main responsibilities- Work one-on-one in 30 minutes to a full hour with students- Guide students through directed learning activities and online workshops - Navigate students through center\'s and on-campus resourcesAccomplishments- Building bridges between Sign and Speech via recommending students to the Sign program and assisting sign students taking public speaking- Actively recommend students with interest and potential to the international winning Mt.Sac speech and debate team
