Selected to receive funding and support from the University of Bath Department of Humanities & Social Sciences to attend the 2016 One Young World Summit in Ottawa.Following the summit, in collaboration with Emma Powell and the Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences, I co-created a one-day conference at the University of Bath,\'One Young Bath\', in which we brought the essence of OYW to over 100 students and academics on campus. In organising this event I oversaw many aspects- from applying for funding, marketing, liaising with invited guests and ultimately on the day, making sure everything ran smoothly. This has continued as a notable event in the university annual calendar.I am grateful to the University of Bath and HSS Faculty for supporting this event, and Emma Powell for her partnership.
