ABOUT MASHUD PARVEZ

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology (DUET), Gazipur, Bangladesh. I earned my Ph.D. in Computational and Applied Mathematics from Old Dominion University (USA) in Summer 2025 and also completed an M.S. in Computational and Applied Mathematics at ODU. Earlier, I received my B.S. in Mathematics and M.S. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Dhaka. My research centers on nonlinear partial differential equations (PDEs), with particular emphasis on rigorous analysis. I focus on challenging problems in materials science, working to bridge mathematical theory with practical applications.Beyond my academic research, I am passionate about Cloud Computing and DevOps, where I explore modern computational tools and practices that complement my mathematical expertise.
