The Henry Crown Fellowship seeks to develop the next generation of community-centered and global leaders, ages 30-45, providing them with the tools necessary to meet the challenges of business and civic leadership in the 21st century. The program is a unique mix of seminars designed to broaden the perspectives of the participants and hone their skills in values-centered leadership. It honors the memory of Chicago industrialist Henry Crown (18••••90), whose legendary career was marked by a lifelong commitment to honor, integrity, industry and philanthropy. Fellows are members of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.The Aspen Global Leadership Network is comprised of highly successful entrepreneurial leaders focused on values and on creating a more sustainable society. In being a part of a global network with access to some of the most talented and like-minded individuals around the world and with the support of the Aspen Institute, these leaders help each other to become more deliberate and impactful in their communities, societies, and the world.

ABOUT MICHELLE MARCINIAK
Entrepreneur | PhilanthropistMichelle Marciniak is Co-Founder and Co-CEO of SHEEX, Inc, the world\'s first performance fabric bedding company with globally patented technology. Inspired by the feel and breathability of athletic performance fabrics, Michelle and Co-Founder Susan Walvius shook up the bedding world in 2007 by inventing a whole new “Performance Home” category in home textiles. Their beachhead into the marketplace was performance fabric bed sheets; they have since expanded into an entire SHEEX Sleep System including SHEEX mattresses and Performance Nightwear. In 2012, they were recognized by EY (Ernst & Young) as \"Winning Women\", a prestigious honor celebrating the top female entrepreneurs in America. SHEEX has earned the distinction of being certified as a woman-owned business by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). Given her entrepreneurial skills and background as a Final Four MVP at the University of Tennessee and a standout in the WNBA, Michelle has become a highly sought-after speaker and panelist. She serves on the Board of the Pat Summitt Foundation and voluntarily performed many of Summitt’s speaking engagements while her former coach battled early onset dementia, Alzheimer’s type. Michelle is the Co-Founder of Pedal for Alzheimer\'s, LTD. a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable platform committed to organizing cycling events to raise money, provide education and increase awareness surrounding the mission of finding a cure for Alzheimer’s. In 2017, she served as Co-Chair of \"Pedal for Pat\" a 1,098 mile cycling event which raised funds on behalf of the Pat Summitt Foundation for the Pat Summitt Alzheimer’s Clinic at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. Michelle also serves as an Advisory Board member of EY’s Women Athletes Business Network, and is a member of the 2014 Class of Henry Crown Fellows at the Aspen Institute, which seeks to develop the next generation of community-spirited leaders.
