I perform public affairs duties for a multi billion dollar logistics enterprise within the Department of Defense. My duties include web, print, video, audio and verbal communications for both internal and external audiences, with careful identification of the correct stakeholders and the most efficient channel to use. Detailed descriptions include, but are not limited to- AP style article writing and use of internally developed style guide- Handle media queries and actively seek out media engagement- Develop data and measurable objective based communication plans to affect knowledge, attitudes and behaviors of the target audience- Stakeholder research- Public speaking at events and for media inquiries- Website updating and maintenance through the DOD approved content management system- Prep leaders for media or congressional engagement with themes, messages, talking points and overallpresentation- Crisis response- Effective channel research- Write, disseminate and follow-up with public affairs guidance- Draft speeches and direct email messages for one and two-star level flag and general officers to be delivered to internal and external audiences- Video production as a lifespan product. Pre-production, planning, production, post-processing, audio,graphics, effects and distribution- Brochure and multi-page booklet design & publication
