Responsible for all aspects of the NC Chapter’s internal and external communications. Collaborate with Chapter volunteer leaders and staff to promote goals of the Sierra Club generally and NC Chapter specifically through development, coordination, and implementation of messaging, strategic communication planning and implementation, and other outreach to the public and policymakers._ Design and implement media strategy for Chapter action campaigns, mainly targeting legislative and administrative leaders, using digital tools (Salesforce-based) to create, monitor and measure action campaigns._ Prepare news advisories, releases and conferences; act as Chapter spokesperson as needed. Build one-on-one relationships with key reporters to pitch stories, field queries and amplify significant reporting._ Responsible for look, functionality and content of Chapter website and campaign \"mini-sites.\" Plan, create and upload all new and changing content._ Responsible for designing and implementing social media strategies around the Chapter\'s campaigns and programs. Work with vendors on topic-driven social and advertising campaigns._ Design, coordinate and produce content for publications including an annual report. Design and coordinate content and production of emailed outreach including monthly newsletter, fundraising campaigns, and advocacy actions. Support volunteer Groups\' email communications including managing scheduling between Club, Chapter and Groups._ Work with vendors and outlets on strategies and placement for general and issue-driven advertising._ Support activist, fundraising, political and other team communications as needed with message creation and fine-tuning, amplification through paid, earned and social media.
