Did you know that concrete is the most used building material worldwide? It’s no wonder when you consider that concrete offers unparalleled performance, resiliency, and flexibility as a sustainable solution our communities’ infrastructure needs!Cement is the active ingredient in concrete and masonry, and in my position as Technical Sales Representative for GCP Applied Technologies, I work to analyse the needs of customers for cement milling additives in order to formulate high performance solutions to enhance operations and sustainability, while maintaining an active presence with industry associations and the standards development community.GCP Applied Technologies is a leading global provider of construction products technologies that include additives for cement and concrete, the VERIFI® in-transit concrete management system, high-performance waterproofing, thermal & moisture protection products, and specialty systems. We\'ve helped the world build with confidence for over 50 years. In 2016, GCP spun off from W.R. Grace. Our 2,400 employees at 57 locations worldwide serve customers in over 100 countries. I have over 20 years of experience in the industry, having worked in cement plant operations and cement technical services. With a degree in Chemical Engineering and Six Sigma Black Belt, I have a strong balance of practical and theoretical problem solving abilities and am able to offer a unique perspective and creative solutions. The best part of my job is that I’m always learning and there’s always something exciting going on.
