As Sales Director at the Deeside branch of Direct Packaging Solutions, one of my main duties is problem solving at the branch level, and this includes managing the personnel, as well as the company’s gross profit and operating profit margins and ensuring the correct specifications for the packaging materials company’s stock so that our postal products stock management system runs smoothly.Customer satisfaction is one of the main focuses of my job, and I work hard to make sure that Direct Packaging Solutions provides its quality postal products, such as printed tape and stretch film, at the right price and that our deliveries make it on time. Once the Managing Director has set the business sales targets, i manage the team to ensure that the goals are met to meet deadlines without conflicting with their schedules.As well as maintaining the company’s stock, i also keep up with the latest trends in the packaging industry and report the findings to the higher management.As Sales Director i speak to the clients ensuring that all orders are correct and answer any enquiries about our products and services. One of my daily activities is the advertisement of our products which is achieved through word of mouth and the company website.The best part of my job is that I still enjoy what I do - I love sharing my knowledge, and applying that knowledge and experience into producing sales for our packaging materials. This part of my job still gives me a buzz even after working for Direct Packaging Solutions for as long as I have.
