Geographic Information Systems Analyst @Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority
Little Rock, AR, US
The Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority (LRWRA) is a public utility responsible for the proper collection, treatment, and disposal of wastewater in Little Rock, Arkansas. Serving over 67,600 homes and businesses, LRWRA manages more than 1,400 miles of public sewers, ensuring that wastewater and solid waste are safely processed from homes, businesses, and public areas to one of their six treatment facilities for thorough cleaning. The treated water, which is significantly cleaner than the Arkansas River water, is then safely released back into natural water sources, serving as habitats for wildlife, sustainable water for industries, and a recreational resource for the community.Website: a GIS Analyst for the Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority, I would be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the organization\'s Geographic Information Systems infrastructure. This includes creating, managing, and disseminating geospatial data and applications using various programming languages and frameworks. I would administer the enterprise geodatabase, maintain and upgrade Esri\'s GIS products, develop custom GIS applications, and integrate GIS with the organization\'s asset management system. Additionally, I would provide technical support and training, configure SQL Server and enterprise geodatabases, assist in report generation, and follow established safety practices and work procedures.
