Dana is the National Security Sales leader for Cyber and Technology team at BDO Canada. Dana brings over 25 years of industry experience and a wealth of knowledge in cybersecurity, demonstrating an impressive track record in reducing cyber risk, cost, and solution complexity.Prior to joining us, Dana held the position of National Enterprise Security Advisor for Microsoft Canada, advising CISOs, CIOs, and boards at some of Canada’s largest enterprises on cybersecurity strategy. His strategic input and collaboration with security experts and thought leaders at Microsoft and its partners have been instrumental in aligning Industry experts with CISOs, ultimately aiding customers in reducing their cyber risk.Before Microsoft, Dana was the President of Micro Focus Canada and VP of Security Sales at HPE. His leadership at both firms proved invaluable, as he successfully guided his teams towards gaining better visibility on threat actors and enhancing data protection. Dana’s extensive professional journey also includes a significant tenure at IBM, leading several enterprise software teams over a 10-year span. These teams, although industry-segment focused, played a key role in assisting customers in the areas of Security, Compliance, and Identity.
