ABOUT MITALI MEHTA
Passion. Determination. Distinctiveness. Everything I do, I try to incorporate these things in my work. I believe in doing every job with passion or not at all. At a very early stage of life I discovered my passion towards travel and ever since I am determined towards creating a career in the industry. Travel is a topic that has never failed to fascinate me. I have been fortunate enough to get an opportunity to gain insightful knowledge about the tourism industry during my MSc in International Tourism Management from University of Surrey. During my masters I worked with Jo Malone as a Christmas temp, although this was a short-term job, I gained immense knowledge and an experience of lifetime. I learnt the importance of communication and teamwork. Previously, during my bachelor’s a two month internship in sales and marketing with a tour operating company in India helped me learn how to deal with customer needs in the industry and how to sell a tourism destination. I’m looking forward to new opportunities and experiences in the tourism industry that will help me evolve as an individual and create a life with no regrets.
