ABOUT MISTY SMITH

I serve & lead as a virtual market manager. We specialize in kidney care & poly chronic care management for Monogram Health. I have worked with multiple major health plans such as Humana, Cigna, BCBS,VA, Advent Health, Devoted, Scan, Banner, etc. I have maintained a compact RN license & individual RN state license in non-compact states such as CA,MA,OH,PA,MI, & compact state license in TN to help increase enrollments, re-engagements, and follow up visits. I strive to improve patient lives and outcomes. I collaborate and lead new enrollment projects with new health plan providers like SCAN in CA, Agilon in Ohio, Mass, PA, TX, P32 in NE states. Assisted in campaigns with MKP NP referral project\'s. Developed Overcoming Objectives & presented during MH education meetings with COMs, CHOS, Case Managers, Social Workers, etc. Assist in training with the new and existing COM & CHOS team and have trained new Case Managers, & Social Workers.Experienced RN for 25 years with a BSN in nursing and psychology. I have acquired 18 years of experience and cross-trained in the following departments: Critical care, ED, L&D, Neuro-trauma, Telemetry, Behavioral health, Stroke rehabilitation, Neonatal, Pediatrics, Surgical, PACU, and Occupational nursing. I have acquired CCRN, COHC, Neuro-trauma, & Stroke certifications. Served as a charge nurse in Critical care, Telemetry, L&D, and PACU. Worked independently as a case manager for home health. FT weekend emergency call PACU RN. Occupational RN working in multiple on site clinics & responding to medical emergencies. Awarded for Excellence in Nursing 2008. Precept and orient new employees, PR, hosting recruitment fairs, peer interviewing, TV commercials for Covenant Health Care, participated in a pilot study for corporate nursing, and served as a childbirth educator and instructor.
