In my current role, I am responsible for designing and enhancing various test systems that incorporate a range of network components. This involves establishing and maintaining comprehensive test specifications while meticulously executing test cases to ensure the thoroughness of our testing processes. I also lead the development and maintenance of automation testing scripts specifically designed for regression tests, thereby streamlining testing procedures for increased efficiency. A critical aspect of my role is the identification, documentation, and vigilant tracking of software defects during the testing phases. Collaboration is a key element of my work, as I closely engage with development teams to ensure the prompt resolution of identified defects. Additionally, I successfully handle assigned tickets from other teams and customers, showcasing my ability to work collaboratively across functional boundaries. Moreover, I manage an extensive inventory of test environment virtual machines (VMs) on the VMware ESXi hypervisor platform. This includes creating and maintaining a stable testing infrastructure to support our testing efforts effectively. Furthermore, I actively maintain hot test and staging servers to facilitate seamless testing processes.
