World leading brand in our niche sector. • Increased sales numbers +6X. • Grew the US/CAN market from being a small, stagnant market to being the number one market worldwide in sales volume among the +100 markets for the company. • Took the company from a break even point to a very high % EBITDA/Sales becoming the most profitable market for the global company. • Turned a deficit business unit into the main financial resources generator and cash flow generator for the global organization. • Reduced average customer discount from 55% to 30%, increasing margins. • Accomplished double-digit annual growth while most competitors were seeing their numbers fall 30/40% during the years of the 2008 recession and the COVID period. • Decided to change the business focus from residential/showrooms to architectural project sales (architects/designers) and grew the architectural project sales percentage from 15% to 85% of the total revenue. • Introduced constant successful new sales policies and management approaches that have been adopted by the industry as a whole and become the norm. • Originated the initiative to change the type of products in our portfolio and the specs and info needed on an ongoing basis to be a good fit in the architects/designers projects. • Built a direct sales team across the US and Canada and 45 sales rep agencies focused on the commercial (architectural project sales-architects/designers). • Led and maintained a committed and stable team in the US for over a decade. • Part of the Global Steering Commitee in Barcelona. • Organized and executed the move of the company from California to New Jersey during my first year, hiring an entire new team in the East Coast and shutting down the the West Coast facility, while continuing to seamlessly operate not losing a single day of business for our clients.
