Assisting in the production and development of new client sites or pages. Problem solving and support for current clients. ABOUT MILLIE HERNANDEZ
For the past 6+ years, I’ve been involved in the field of computer science, graphic design, and digital multimedia design with projects in web design and development, UI/UX, wireframing, mobile app development, advertising, and video editing. Of those years, the last 4+ have been in my current position working as an assistant WordPress Developer using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap to design web pages. Prior to this role I’ve worked on data analytics, designed promotional materials and advertisements, and worked on video editing projects for my internship and part-time roles in college. During my experience, I have learned the importance of asking detailed questions and keeping excellent documentation. In this time I’ve introduced new free tools into my departments\' workflow to reduce time and improve efficiency as well as made continuous efforts to overhaul documentation/tutorials for pain point procedures to make them easier to understand, follow and implement while maintaining a good understanding of work processes to point out possible issues that may occur, keeping the end-user in mind when making updates and suggestions. I hold a BS in Computer Science IT with additional studies in art and design, animation, business, entrepreneurship, and outside of my day job I enjoy making digital illustrations for my e-commerce merch business. In my spare time, I’m also working on projects for nonprofit organizations.
