ABOUT MIKE WILLIAMS

20+ years leading intelligence operations in the Air Force (TS/SCI w CI-Poly). Now I run AI/ML defense programs at Colvin Run Networks managing contracts from R&D to delivery for Navy, Air Force, and the broader DoW.I use AI to manage AI programs. Built my own automation stack: Node.js scripts, API integrations, automated reporting pipelines to track cost, schedule, and performance across six concurrent contracts. If there\'s a manual process, it\'s on borrowed time. Background: Strategic collection ops, multi-million dollar program management, and building partnerships nobody thought would work. Turns out those skills transfer surprisingly well to translating between engineers and government customers. and knowing when to stay out of the way!I also navigate the compliance side: CMMC Level 2, CUI handling, AI tool governance, and SSP documentation. I understand the constraints of operating in GCC High and classified-adjacent environments because I\'ve had to solve those problems on active contracts. On the BD side: capability talking papers, proposal structuring, and new contract pursuit with Navy and Air Force customers.Tools I actually use: Claude Code, Linear, GitHub, n8n, Slack, Node.js, Gemini.
