I work as part of a team liaising with the national media and farming trade press to ensure NFU key messages on issues, policies areas and sectors are heard or seen by the right audiences. I monitor the news, horizon-scan and make sure that any opportunities for the NFU to be in the press, in a relevant and credible way, are maximised. The role includes briefing the NFU senior leadership team, members and staff, writing and editing columns, media training, and working to ensure we\'re consistent and innovative. I am also the \'Voice of the NFU\' which includes \'Voice of God\' at NFU Conference and am part of the NFU team at The Lord Mayor\'s Show.
