ABOUT MIKE ROCHETTI

With over 10 years of experience in accounting, I am currently the Power Accounting Manager at Spark Energy, a leading renewable energy company. I lead a team of senior and staff accountants who are responsible for preparing and reviewing the income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows for the power segment of the company. I also oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations. In addition, I support the management and external auditors with financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting. I am an Accountant with a bachelor\'s degree in accounting from Sam Houston State University. I have developed strong skills in income statements, close process, leadership, and communication throughout my career. I am passionate about renewable energy and its potential to create a more sustainable and equitable future for everyone.
