ABOUT MIKE OBRIEN
Over 25 years experience in IT and outsourcing businesses. The first 10 years of my career were spent in engineering and the NHS, developing large scale transaction processing platforms with roles across the full SDLC. The subsequent 15 years have been spent building the Capital Markets IT business, Strategic Systems Solutions; acquired by Capgemini in 2010. My interest in emerging technologies, skill in building relationships and entrepreneurial spirit allowed me develop new business units and products within build the firm’s largest and most successful client (Deutsche Bank), create and run a global sales and account management team. As a member of the firm’s Executive Board I helped transform the business from a UK based, legacy technology company to a highly respected global technology and consulting firm. Following the acquisition by Capgemini, I worked in the Capital Markets Business Unit as a Vice President with responsibility for the firm\'s global relationship with Deutsche Bank and European responsibility for the Credit Suisse account.
