Advisory Board Member @Dynamo North East

View department →

Newcastle-upon-Tyne, GB

I\'m delighted to share that I have joined Dynamo North East\'s Advisory Board. I\'ve seen first-hand the growth of the North East tech economy over the last decade, however I believe there is so much more we can achieve, and so much untapped potential still. As a membership organisation for the North East tech sector, Dynamo consists of tech organisations of all shapes and sizes. As an Advisory Board member I’ll be representing our members to help us achieve regional growth, promote our region and develop skills. I hope to be able to encourage FE institutions and universities in the North East help foster tech entrepreneurship better, address the digital divide further in the region to give everyone across the board the same level of digital access, inclusion and opportunity; and make the space for Tech for Good in the region better supported.

This resulted in the launch of Virtual Memory Box, which is now an award-winning stand-alone company, rolling out the digital solution across the UK, and named Tech for Good Winner in the Prolific North 2023 awards.Proud to be born and raised in the North East of England, Dylan was named North East Tech champion in 2021, and was delighted to join the Advisory Board of Dynamo North East in 2023, where he can contribute to shaping the success and future of the region’s tech community and wider economy.A firm believer in the power of collaboration and community, Dylan joined forces with two other like-minded professionals to launch the Silicon Mingle event in Newcastle in 2023.Dylan has also gained national recognition - in 2018, he was awarded the prestigious Fellowship of the Royal Society of the Arts (RSA), and in 2022, he was named Young Digital Leader of the Year in the National DL100 Awards.
