ABOUT MIKE HIBBERD

A highly collaborative leader who inspires genuine step changes in cooperation and sharing of best practice throughout the life of programmes and projects in order to deliver continuous improvement and successful outcomes.Notable Achievements- Developed the programme and project management service for the client Defra. Recruited and grew a team to provide expertise in project development, planning and delivery, affecting high containment laboratories and facilities. ‐ Lead Project Manager for development and delivery of landlord estate in preparation for the construction of the largest aircraft Hangar in UK including sensitive clearance of ancient woodland, relocation of reptiles and bats. Gained approval for the discharge of all associated Town Planning and Ecological conditions.‐ Led the establishment of new Programme Management Office for Affinity Water including development of the governance structure, programme controls and performance monitoring processes- Delivered the programme for the rationalisation and relocation of the science operations for a global pharmaceutical company. Successfully delivered the construction of a high containment laboratory including the relocation of exiting equipment and operations from aged premises. ‐ Developed business cases, defined benefits through effective stakeholder engagements and led the detailed design required to secure £88m funding for widening taxiway routes across Heathrow. ‐ Led the refurbishment of airport departure lounges and retail units developing brilliant basic design, improving passenger experience and substantially increasing retail revenue. Works completed within the operational lounge area with no incidents or disruption to passengers or the airport operations.
