I am Mihir Malkan, having experience of nearly 13 Years in Software Consulting. I am presently associated with IBM Consulting as Package Consultant.Over these years, I have gained experience and sound understanding of the Functional and Technical concepts of Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) application. I have been working as a Techno-Functional resource configuring and even testing Oracle CPQ based on clients requirements such as creating Hiding/ Constraint/ Validation rules, modifying/building the CSS for CPQ per the visual modifications requested by client. I have even worked on the Document engine in CPQ where we can create the Contract/Order document based on the clients requirements. Apart from this, I have gained sound understanding and experience of different test approaches and techniques. At all times, I make sure that both the company’s and the client’s interests are at the core of any IT project. I am a real team player and a leader who can comfortably work with Business Analysts, Clients and Development Teams to develop and enhance software functionality. Also possess sound knowledge of Root Cause Analysis, User Interfacing Testing, Database Testing.I have good experience in designing, developing and implementing test plans, test cases and test processes. I am proficient in Unit Testing, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, System Testing and Adhoc Testing. Went onshore to California, USA for executing several projects. Interacted directly with clients to deploy their applications.My abilities also include analyzing software requirements, implementing Automation Frameworks, generating scripts in Testing for Regression Testing, determining test cases for covering them and preparing test cases as per the test specifications. I am adaptable, good team player and like to maintain discipline across the floor. I have keen inclination to learn new technologies. In leisure time, I like to listen to music, photography and exploring new avenues.
