ABOUT MICK FLANIGAN
Current: strategic advisor with Isos Technology. Working with our enterprise clients to navigate the future of the Atlassian ecosystem.Formerly: Director of Solutions, Praecipio. Lead a team to deliver findings and recommendations to our key clients to assist in navigating future proposals.President and Founder of Equip, an Atlassian Platinum Partner service provider. Equip was founded in 2013 by Mick Flanigan with offices in Portland, Oregon, and Seattle, Washington. As a Solution Architect, I facilitated requirements gathering, business process analysis, and provided leadership in business process design. This enabled deployment of custom Atlassian Solutions adhering to Agile methodologies. As a sales Engineer, was key in providing technical details during the initial engagement processes. As Lead Trainer, created and delivered both user based and administrative training for a variety of Atlassian products.Joined California Institute of Technology as the Quality Assurance Officer for Advanced LIGO project. LIGO is an NSF funded project with a goal of detecting gravity waves and open exciting physics research. While with Intel Labs and Intel Research from 2002 through 2008, was a member of one of the most exciting and rewarding teams in my career. From designing, building and deploying sensor networks to developing commercial applications for edge computing and sensing, to working with teams to develop next generation on body sensor networks, working with the team at Intel Labs was the most rewarding and challenging times in my career. Being a part of a true \"high performing team\" is exceptional and rare, and our mission to develop technology solutions to everyday problems was a blank slate and a piece of chalk. Nothing is as enjoyable as being surrounded by the true rockstars we want our kids to look up to and emulate.Employed by Intel in 1996 Intel\'s Senior Vibration Engineer, I led the effort to consolidate the system across all Intel sites and setup corporate monitoring standards. Year over year the average savings for the corporation at the Oregon site alone was $5mil based on factory uptime, machine repair and replacement costs, reduction in lost product, lower headcount and energy savings.Specialties: Atlassian Ecosystem, Low Power sensing, wireless sensing, FFT Analysis, predictive maintenance system development and deployment, advanced machine diagnostics, health care sensing and wireless platform deployments, purchasing, project management, system test and certification, FCC licensing, extreme challenge deployments. QA/QC.
