Working with PCDMIS software, carry out First/Last off inspection to a variety of complex Engineering components. Responsible for the calibration of all aspects of Dimensional metrology using CMM techniques and first principles. Maintain relevant records of work, results and all data in an auditable manor.Maintain the Calibration database to a high standard setting correct recall periods for a variety of hand held measuring equipment.Participate in internal/external audits as and when required.Ability to produce CMM programs both simple one off’s to complex detailed programs. Produce F.A.I.R’s where applicable, Produce off line programming to be ready for new part introduction and in readiness to support first off inspection. Currently on short term secondment to Brown & Holmes Derby with Mechanical Engineering build on boat enclosures for the Defense sector.
