I am responsible for leading Global Privacy Operations at Aon, reporting to the Chief Privacy Officer. I am also a member of Aon’s data office, working with the Chief Data Officer on the firm-wide data strategy and governance model. The team I lead is responsible for- Aon’s global privacy operating model and governance, which includes a network of privacy champions and Data Protection Officers - documenting and socialising global privacy policy, guidelines and standards - ensuring Aon remains compliant with privacy regulations across the globe, which includes assessing compliance and monitoring remediation of any findings - running privacy projects in multiple jurisdictions to comply with new or changing privacy laws / regulations - managing privacy incidents and responding to data subject requests - supporting Aon’s operations and technology teams with embedding privacy into processes and technology solution designs - privacy training and awareness
