ABOUT MICHELLE GUINEY

After spending almost two decades as a 911 operator and emergency dispatcher, my path to the private sector was non-traditional. However, there may have been no greater preparation for my role in communications and executive administration. I am inherently adept at distilling information down quickly, shaping a narrative and telling a story, all while managing complex other tasks simultaneously. I am constantly triaging needs, managing time, rapidly prioritizing responsibilities, handling confidential information, and mitigating crises. My personal operations focus on community building and cross-collaboration at every juncture. I am consistently viewing the world and my colleagues through the lens of our shared humanity. This is relevant as I engage in the day-to-day actions of my workplace, knowing all of the players from the vendor delivery staff through the CEO, supporting a growth mindset with my teams, and discouraging siloed thought processes.This is also who I am at home - connecting with my neighbors and the local barista, volunteering and serving on executive boards and committees for the non-profits I have been affiliated with, filling in voids whenever needed, and regularly saying “yes” when asked to assist in any setting.
