ABOUT MICHELLE J.
I’m a senior procurement and supply chain leader with 19 years’ experience helping organisations strengthen their supply chains, reduce risk, and deliver real value. My career spans the Charity, Aerospace, Telecoms, and IT sectors — from building greenfield procurement functions to transforming mature ones.I’ve managed multi-million-pound portfolios (£60m+) and led international teams across the UK and Europe. Along the way, I’ve cut lead times by more than half, achieved full governance compliance, and embedded strategic contract planning that shifted businesses from reactive to proactive.What drives me is the human side of procurement: creating processes that are not only efficient, but inclusive. Whether that’s adapting ways of working to support neurodiverse colleagues, or leading sector-wide collaboration during COVID to source ethical PPE for 40+ charities, I believe procurement should enable people as much as it protects organisations.As a Fellow of CIPS and committee member for Cheshire & North Wales, I’m committed to advancing the profession, sharing best practice, and continually learning. I’ve also lived and worked internationally, bringing a multicultural perspective and a collaborative approach to every challenge.
