ABOUT MICHEÁL OKEEFFE

Micheál O’Keeffe, a Principal of Glotman•Simpson Consulting Engineers, is a senior engineer with over 26 years of structural design experience including design in reinforced concrete, post-tensioned concrete, structural steel, wood frame and masonry. Micheál is well known for his ability to handle large projects where project management is essential. His exceptional engineering and leadership skills have contributed greatly to the success of Glotman•Simpson. Understanding how structures work and a commitment to both sharing and applying his knowledge on every project has established his solid reputation as a team leader and mentor within the firm. Well respected for his collaborative skills and practical approach in all aspects of the building process, Micheál is frequently called upon for building evaluation assignments, building condition assessments, and technical peer reviews. He currently serves with the Association of Professional Engineers of BC (APEGBC) in several capacities.
