ABOUT MICHAEL BARTON

Creative media is where I perform best. Whether it\'s making music, shooting video, designing emails or managing social media. I strive to learn new skills and new software, always wanting to keep up with the trends and the current best practices. The motto that I live by is \"Making the ordinary, extraordinary\", which has helped me create exciting content for any job or project I have worked on. A noteworthy example of this would be my final University project, where I went above and beyond in building my own binaural microphone setup which I used to create a 3 dimensional sound experience. Being passionate about content creation also means i\'m passionate about creative media, and as such, I have a University degree in Media Production and experience creating content for multiple roles. My current career direction is going down the path of Digital Marketing, though I have experience ranging from working in a TV studio environment to short film production. Through this I have developed a passion for Sound and Music, which saw me become a nominee for best sound design in the final year of my degree with my binaural sound design project. I have also been surrounded by technology my whole life, and have grown up learning about the ever changing technological landscape, which has in turn meant self-teaching myself how to troubleshoot and fix things, both in regards to hardware and software. I have ongoing personal projects such as my music project Another Ambient August which I continue to contribute to. I also continually take photos and practice my photography skills using my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 smart phone. On top of this I practice digital art and cinematography. I like helping people with problems and guiding them to the solution they are looking for and always feel confident knowing that my bright, fun and empathetic personality can hopefully make someone\'s day better. Making me well suited for customer facing roles. I am hardworking and will do my best at any role I am tasked with. There\'s nothing I won\'t try!
