As a Communications Specialist at Urenco USA (UUSA), I’m supporting the company’s public relations programs, activities, and projects by providing media design, photographic, and technical support and guiding digital creative to design engaging content that builds virtual communities and promotes local awareness.\\\\n\\\\nMy responsibilities include:\\\\n\\\\n- Executing consistent, strategic messaging, both internally and externally, while ensuring communications adhere to corporate guidelines.\\\\n\\\\n- Writing and editing compelling and effective press materials, including: press releases, positioning statements, backgrounds, articles, and bios.\\\\n\\\\n- Developing and executing a robust social media strategy through research, benchmarking, messaging, audience identification, and segmentation to align with business goals.\\\\n\\\\n- Maintaining a social media content calendar, and handling scheduling and promotional efforts.\\\\n\\\\n- Writing for all areas of communication, including customer communications (such a as emails, collateral, and website copy website), news releases, and employee communications.\\\\n\\\\n- Providing input into the company’s website messaging strategy and content development through coordination with the corporate communications team.\\\\n\\\\n- Tracking and analyzing analytics reports to gain insights on traffic and effectiveness as well as optimizing communication efforts across all channels.\\\\n\\\\n- Representing UUSA at community functions and events as well as trade and professional organizations.\\\\n\\\\n\\\\nUrenco USA (UUSA) is part of an international company that operates on the cutting-edge of the nuclear energy industry, utilizing the world’s most advanced, energy-efficient, and cost-effective method to enrich uranium.
