Employed within the Capital Projects group providing cost estimating and planning services for complex projects supporting Canada’s nuclear science and research mission. My work includes the preparation and validation of cost estimates for capital infrastructure, nuclear waste management facilities, nuclear-classified infrastructure, some of which are first-of-a-kind projects in Canada, supporting feasibility studies, business cases, and capital gating and sanctioning decisions. I collaborate with engineering, project management, and commercial teams to ensure cost plans reflect scope maturity, risk and contingency, escalation, and constructability, in alignment with AACEI best practices and nuclear regulatory requirements.
