ABOUT MICHAEL KIM
I\'m currently employed as an Operations and Maintenance Technician with Ethos Energy Group at the Cosumnes Power Plant located in Herald, CA. The Cosumnes Power Plant is a combined cycle power plant with a 603 MW nominal output. I have 10 years of working experience in the offshore oil and gas industry as a Marine Engineer with Transocean. During my career with Transocean I was a 1st/2nd Assistant Engineer for 7 years supervising engine room personnel that conducted the maintenance and operation of 6th Generation drillship power generation plant, propulsion equipment, and auxiliary systems. My time with Transocean as an Engineering Supervisor has allowed me to develop skills in project management, multi-contractor management, leadership, managerial, and teamwork skills. The auxiliary systems included sewage plant, reverse osmosis potable water production equipment, HVAC/R systems, and fuel and lube oil purification equipment. My goal is to apply my engineering skills and work ethic by being a valuable addition to a team of driven professionals.
